Zipper Extension: Terms of Service

Welcome to Zipper, a Chrome browser extension provided by Eii Tech Solutions ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Zipper extension and its related services. By installing, accessing, or using the Zipper extension, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Zipper extension.

  • Acceptance of Terms

    By using the Zipper extension, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. You also agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding your use of the extension.

  • Description of Service

    Zipper is a Chrome extension designed to enhance your email attachment security and management within Gmail. It offers various sending modes, including normal, zipped, secure zipped, and secure zipped with a one-time link, as detailed in the Zipper User Guide. The extension facilitates the secure handling of attachments by zipping and password-protecting files and managing password delivery.

  • User Obligations and Conduct

    You agree to use the Zipper extension only for its intended purpose and in a manner consistent with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. You agree not to:

    • Use the extension for any illegal, unauthorized, or fraudulent purpose.
    • Transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
    • Engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the Zipper extension or the servers and networks connected to it.
    • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the extension, other users’ accounts, or any computer systems or networks connected to Zipper.
    • Reverse engineer, decompile, dispassemble, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code or underlying ideas or algorithms of the extension.
    • Distribute, license, sell, or otherwise exploit the extension or any part thereof for any commercial purposes without our express written consent.
    • Use the extension to send unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or any other form of solicitation.
    • Introduce any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful.

  • Intellectual Property Rights

    The Zipper extension, including its design, features, functionality, and content (excluding user-generated content), is and will remain the exclusive property of Eii Tech Solutions and its licensors. The extension is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both Japan and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of Eii Tech Solutions.

  • Disclaimers

    The Zipper extension is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Eii Tech Solutions makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the extension, including but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.

    Eii Tech Solutions does not warrant that:

    • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the extension.
    • Any conduct or content of any third party on the extension.
    • Any content obtained from the extension.
    • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.

  • Termination

    We may terminate or suspend your access to the Zipper extension immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the extension will immediately cease.

  • Changes to These Terms

    We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our extension after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the extension.

  • Governing Law

    These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
