Learn how to install, configure, and send secure attachments with the Zipper Chrome Extension.

インストール

Zipper拡張機能のインストール

To get started, you’ll need to install the Zipper extension from the Chrome Web Store.

  • 1 Open the Chrome browser and navigate to the Zipper extension page.
  • 2 「Chrome に追加」 ボタンをクリックします。
  • 3 Click "Add extension" when the confirmation pop-up appears.
  • 4 The Zipper icon will now appear in your browser’s toolbar.

拡張機能へのアクセス

For quick access, we recommend pinning the extension to your toolbar.

  1. Click the puzzle-piece icon (Extensions) in the top-right.
  2. Find "Zipper" in the list.
  3. Click the pin icon next to it.

ログインと権限の付与

Zipperアイコンを初めてクリックすると、Googleアカウントへのログインを求められます。これは拡張機能を機能させるために非常に重要なステップです。

ログインプロセス

Prompt "Sign in with Google" will open in a new window.
Choose the Google account you wish to use.
Review the list of permissions required.

Understanding Required Permissions

To work seamlessly with your Google Account, Zipper requires your permission for certain actions.

メールの管理

許可: すべてのメールを Gmail から読み、作成し、送信します。

This allows Zipper to open a compose window, attach your files, and send the email on your behalf, just as if you were doing it in Gmail.

連絡先にアクセスする

許可: 連絡先を表示、編集、ダウンロードします。

This enables the auto-complete feature in the "To," "Cc," and "Bcc" fields, making it faster to add recipients.

Important Security Note

Zipper handles your data with the highest level of security. Your email content and attachments are only processed to perform actions, and never stored or shared.

メールの作成と送信

After logging in, you can start using Zipper to send secure attachments. While primarily for attachments, you can also view your inbox within the extension.

  • Click the Zipper icon to open the main dashboard.
  • Switch to the "Compose" tab to start a new draft.

Before sending, choose one of the four secure modes available at the bottom of the window:

Detailed Sending Modes

1 ジップ

Zips attachments into a single, unencrypted .zip file attached directly to the email.

仕組み

Compresses selected files into a standard archive to reduce size and bundle multiple items.

最適な用途

General file organization where additional encryption is not required.

2 セキュアジップ

Creates a password-protected zip. The file and its password are sent in two separate emails automatically.

"Please note that you will receive a separate email containing the password..."

3 セキュアジップリンク

The highest security tier. Requires recipient email verification via a one-time link to retrieve the zip password.

Secure link data is stored for 30 days. We never store actual email content or attachments on our servers.

安全なリンクの再送信

If a recipient misses their link, you can easily resend it. Locate the original email in your Zipper "Sent" folder. You will find options to copy the current password or trigger a new unique link email to the recipient.
